Since I have a car blog for Rens I suppose it's only fair to have a boat blog for Klaas. Lots of old fishing boats in the harbour when I went for a walk there this morning. There was a man taking a chainsaw to the keel of one of them which seemed a bit drastic - looked as if he was taking a bit off to make it less deep or something. Anyway, despite appearanced these are nOt old wrecks, they are working boats. Saw a man selling fish from a wheelbarrow on the street corner this morning, so the fish in the restaurants would seem to be fresh and locally caught.
Ok, so this boat is maybe more for Tim than for Klaas... You can see that this is a very child centred country. Lots of playparks with imaginative things for kids to play on. I´ve spotted quite a lot of dinosaur climbing frames but didn´t think to take pictures of them yet.
